Our Doctor

​​​​​Dr. An Hollier was born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland. She attended the University of Maryland, College Park where she received her undergraduate degree in Biology.

Not only are eyes important for you to see the world, it gives us a view at your overall health.  Early eye exams are critical to prevent common eye diseases from causing permanent vision loss or blindness.  Our goal is to preserve your vision in order to protect your future.

We can identify many health conditions and vision problems by just taking a look into your eyes.  Precise diagnosis with the help of advanced technology allows us to give you exemplary eye care with the trust and feel of a family friendly office.  We service Gaithersburg, North Potomac, Germantown, Rockville and the surrounding areas.  

She then obtained a BS in Visual Sciences and a Doctorate of Optometry from the distinguished Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA where she graduated with clinical honors. Many of her externships, focused on the treatment and management of ocular diseases and fitting specialty contact lenses, were done locally at clinics such as The National Naval Medical Center, The Katzen Eye Group, and The Eye Doctors of Washington.

Dr. Hollier is currently a member of professional organizations such as the American Optometric Association and the Maryland Optometric Association.  She is committed to slowing the progression of myopia (nearsightedness) in children as she continues to be an active member of the AAOMC (American Academy of Orthokeratoogy and Myopia Control) and has attained status of IACMM (International Academy Certification in Myopia Management).
